This 7,000+ square foot hand hewn white cedar log and stone home is simply a masterpiece. The new home is designed so that the public living areas have views of and access to covered and open (low maintenance) log & stone decks that provide access to and views of the pool and woods. The open floor plan is finished in a great blend of handcrafted cabinetry & granite, reclaimed barn flooring, cathedral wood and log ceilings, with expansive Kolbe & Kolbe glass views. The master suite, complete with a spiral staircase to an additional walkout level walk-in-closet, has private views of the local deer's favorite field. Universal access planning and an elevator make the home accessible throughout. Geothermal and radiant heating make the home efficient and cozy. And, we kept the homeowner's existing house at the site with a plan to landscape its tiered foundation (after the old house’s demolition) into a fabulous outdoor living area overlooking the river and pool.
