Welcome to Badger Brother’s Portfolio of Luxury Custom Homes. Part of the extravagance that is considered a Badger Brother work is not just the finished product but the entire process from conception, to sketches, prints, and then to building and finally move in and enjoy. Whether you are looking for a Rustic Log, Refined Timber Frame, Salt Box, Old World European, Arts-n-Craft, Contemporary, or any combination, you can find it hear.  In the portfolio we have decided to not only show you the finished art but the “in process” as well. This is to help you understand the vastness of what goes into creating each masterpiece. It is also worth noting that most of these homes have exceeded the platinum rating for “green building”.

Sit back and enjoy the videos.

The Morrison, named after one of the founding designers of the Arts & Crafts movement, this, our model home in Aurora, Ohio, is an example of what can be designed and built in a gated, Jack Nicholas golfing community. This 7,400 square foot Arts & Crafts influenced home has been featured on TV, in print and as a recipient of design awards. What others have said about this open floor plan based, cathedral, 1 ½ story, log and timber refuge: “I feel like I’m on vacation when I walk in the door.” “Some wood homes have too much wood for a house we’d live in all year long. This has the right balance of the feel of wood and the use of color.” “I own two 7,500 sq. ft. homes, one on Lake Tahoe, and I’ve never felt more comfortable, like I can be me, as I feel in this home.”
The Quarry’s Edge is a wonderful luxury log home master piece placed on a peninsula overlooking an abandon quarry. Some of the unique features in this home consist of a custom “chef” kitchen to cook and entertain simultaneously, a personal office/ library overlooking the grand nature of the house, and a massive two sided fireplace created from the onsite stone quarry. Mixed with hand-scribed log king post trusses inside, stone and hand-scribed log exterior gives this house the perfect warmth you expect from a Badger Brother Custom Log Home creation.
This Beach house has all the amenities and more; Car port, Screen Porch with Full Masonry Fireplace and Hot Tub, Award Winning Floor Design, Bunk Room, Master Bedroom, Guest Room, Kids Loft, Pantry, Dinning Room, Laundry Room, Balcony and so much more. The details are exquisite!
Moose Lodge, a 7,000+ square foot hand hewn white cedar log and stone home is simply a masterpiece. The new home is designed so that the public living areas have views of and access to covered and open (low maintenance) log & stone decks that provide access to and views of the pool and woods. The open floor plan is finished in a great blend of handcrafted cabinetry & granite, reclaimed barn flooring, cathedral wood and log ceilings, with expansive Kolbe & Kolbe glass views. The master suite, complete with a spiral staircase to an additional walkout level walk-in-closet, has private views of the local deer’s favorite field. Universal access planning and an elevator make the home accessible throughout. Geothermal and radiant heating make the home efficient and cozy. And, we kept the homeowner’s existing house at the site with a plan to landscape its tiered foundation (after the old house’s demolition) into a fabulous outdoor living area overlooking the river and pool.
Stonewater, a 10,000+ square foot horse estate, complete with a future matching indoor riding arena and barn, reflects the design influences of the European craftsman that was built in Connecticut 300 years ago. It’s stone and white cedar shake exterior complements the many exposed Douglas fir king post arched trusses placed in its many 18/12 pitched roof gables. The one and a half story front is majestic yet welcoming and warm. The towering post & beam and timber frame Great Room area is breathtaking with sheets of glass overlooking the view of the 80-acre private lake. A Victorian influenced all glass conservatory; a Nana Wall providing visual and direct access to sweeping stone & timber supported decks; stunning finish work; cathedral spaces everywhere; copper roof elements, and so much more can be found in this home. The homeowner stated, “This is exactly what I want and more than I expected.”
This very special Equestrian Lifestyle Home and grounds was designed not only to accommodate the views of the Lake and pastures but, to keep the informal yet eloquent lifestyle of this training facility.
